Pure Monastrell from high-altitude, organically farmed old vines in Yecla, dry-farmed on sandy limestone soils at nearly 1000 metres. Dark plum, blackcurrant, wild herbs and a balsamic mineral thread, with the fleshy warmth that makes Monastrell so satisfying and tannins that are surprisingly refined for the region. Spice meets spice when paired with Thai khua kling moo and Korean doejang braised short rib.

Description

A passion project between Swiss winemaker Philippe Bramaz and German viticulturalist Sebastian Keller, making wines across several regions including Yecla in southeast Spain, Mallorca and the Mosel. Bramaz has deep ties to Bangkok and the Asian wine world, and his wines carry the same philosophy wherever he works: let each place speak for itself with as little interference as possible.
