Aglianico Le Fole red

Aglianico from old vines in the volcanic soils of Irpinia, fermented with native yeasts and aged in large chestnut barrels before bottling unfiltered. Deep ruby, lively and impetuous: dark berries, black pepper, leather, herbs and a volcanic minerality running through it all, with firm rhythmic tannins that are very much the point. Great with the rich flavors of Thai gaeng hang lay and Korean galbi jjim.
