Named after Hans’s grandmother and sourced from 40-year-old organic vines in the Mainqué area. Mostly Malbec aged in used oak and concrete. Purer and fresher than most Argentine Malbec: dark cherry, violet, plum and wild herbs, with finely grained tannins and that telltale Patagonian freshness keeping everything alive. Ideal with Thai neua yang nam tok and Japanese wagyu shabu shabu.

Description

Danish winemaker Hans Vinding-Diers and Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano built this project around old pre-phylloxera Malbec vines in the remote Río Negro Valley, one of the most southerly wine regions in the world. High desert kept alive by ancient irrigation canals fed by Andean snowmelt, certified organic, and one of South America’s most compelling addresses for the grape.
