Chardonnay, Limestone Coast

While Patrick has been getting a lot of acclaim for his single vineyard Chardonnays there is no better place to start than with his Limestone Coast cuvée that includes fruit from a selection of his vineyards around Victoria. A nice straw gold color in the glass with baked apple, grilled hazelnuts, vanilla-bean-infused cream with fresh lemon juice and zest flavors. The fuller-bodied palate comes in with touches of oak spices and some chewy texutres add more appeal and it finishes with finger lime acidity and decent length.
